Course Description: This training provides an overview of the most popular types of drugs and paraphernalia, their methods of use, and their effects on the human body.

Learning Outcomes:  Participants will be able to:
• Recognize the dangers associated with the abuse of narcotics, prescription drugs, synthetic/ designer drugs and alcohol
• Identify each of the following along with the paraphernalia used to introduce each drug into the human body: Opiates-Marijuana-PCP-Cocaine-Amphetamines-Meth Amphetamines-Ecstasy-Alcohol
• Describe the processing method for preparing controlled substances for human ingestion
• How to assist individuals in accessing treatment
